DawgFeed standards
Know what is confirmed — and what is still developing.
A team announcement, a reporter's update, and our read of a position battle are not the same thing. DawgFeed labels each one and links to the best available source.
Confirmed
The Browns, the NFL, or another primary record has established the fact. Examples include the official roster, schedule, and announced transactions.
Reported
A named reporter or outlet has published the information. The source stays attached, and the update is not presented as an official team decision.
Analysis
DawgFeed's read of what the available facts may mean on the field. It is clearly separated from team announcements and reported news.
Open question
Some answers are still developing. Starting jobs and player availability stay open until reliable reporting settles them.
Original sources first
DawgFeed points to the team announcement or original reporting whenever possible. It does not copy full articles or present a rewrite as new reporting.
Dates matter
Updates carry dates so readers can quickly see when the news happened and whether a newer development has followed.
